Tuesday evening/late afternoon: Arrival by minibus from Kaunas.
Tuesday 18:00: Reception at Melngalvju nams "The outstanding monument of Mannerism age was Melngalvju nams (the House of Blackheads) - oldest public building in Riga. Unfortunately true House of Blackheads was destroyed in 1941. The building was just recently rebuilt." At the reception, there will be present representatives of Nordic organizations, politicians and scholars.
Wednesday 9:00 - 13:00: Visit to the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Latvia, (Raina bulv. 29) which is 10 minutes walking dictance (~10 min.) from the Hotel Konventa Seta where the delegation stays. Inguna Skadina will meet the delegation in the entrance hall of the institute.; Agenda:

presentations by the local groups,
discussions.

Wednesday afternoon: (Possibly time for further talks, or the visit to the NMR office, if that was not before the visit to the Univ.)
