Maps



The maps of Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Europe, North America, South America, and World Atlas have been prepared with the CorelDRAW program (versions 7.0 and 10.0) in 2001 at Department of Geography, University of Helsinki. The maps were prepared under the auspices of Bernard Comrie and the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, Leipzig, Germany.
The map of North and Central Eurasia was prepared under the auspices of Department of General Linguistics, University of Helsinki, for the support of the research of languages spoken in Europe and North and Central Asia.

The maps can be used as material for research and teaching. The maps are available on the Multilingual Research Collection of the University of Helsinki. Reference to the maps has to be done in the documents in which they are used as a material.
