KIELITIETEEN PÄIVÄT, JOENSUU, MAY 15-16, 2003The Linguistic Association of Finland took part in organizing the annual Kielitieteen Päivät (Linguistics Days) Conference, which this year was held in Joensuu, by inviting Brian MacWhinney (Carnegie Mellon University) to give the opening plenary on 'Emergent approaches to language'.
