Three PhD positions at GSLT
The Swedish National Graduate School of Language Technology (GSLT)
announces three four-year graduate fellowships beginning 1st Sept.
2010 (application deadline 7th June, 2010). Information and an
application form are to be found on http://www.gslt.hum.gu.se.
The Graduate School of Language Technology (GSLT) is a national
graduate school for which University of Gothenburg (Faculty of Arts)
is the coordinating host. In this call students may apply for
placement in any of the following three departments at Gothenburg
University:
Department of Computer Science and Engineering
Department of Philosophy, Linguistics and Theory of Science
Department of Swedish
The school offers a doctoral programme in language technology. One of
its main aims is to provide advanced training in the foundations of
both speech and natural language processing technologies.
It is committed to an international profile and welcomes applications
from outside Sweden. To be eligible for application students must have
an undergraduate degree in an appropriate related field, such as
language technology, computational linguistics, general linguistics,
information science, cognitive science, computer science or a modern
language.
