2010 Conference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing (EMNLP 2010)

Preliminary Call for Papers

SIGDAT, the Association for Computational Linguistics' special interest
group on linguistic data and corpus-based approaches to NLP, invites
submissions to EMNLP 2010. The conference will be held on October 9-11,
2010, at the Frank Gehry-designed Stata Center at the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.

We are interested in papers from academia, government, and industry on all
areas of traditional interest to the SIGDAT community and aligned fields,
including but not limited to:

   * Phonology/Morphology, Tagging and Chunking, Segmentation
   * Syntax and Parsing
   * Semantics
   * Discourse, Dialogue, and Pragmatics
   * Summarization and Generation
   * NLP-related machine learning: theory, methods and algorithms
   * Machine Translation
   * Information Retrieval and Question Answering
   * Information Extraction
   * Sentiment Analysis, Opinion Mining and Text Classification
   * Spoken Language Processing
   * Text Mining and Natural Language Processing Applications
   * Language Resources
   * Multilinguality

Important Dates (Preliminary):

  Submission deadline: June 25, 2010
  Acceptance notification: August 10, 2010
  Camera-ready copy due: September 10, 2010
  Conference: October 9-11, 2010
